Privacy
Your account is for using the tools—not for feeding an ad profile.
This notice explains the limited information Bebop Workshop uses to provide accounts, support, and operate the site. Effective September 28, 2026.
Information we use
When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a stable account identifier and basic profile information such as your email address, email-verification status, name, and profile image. Bebop Workshop does not request access to your contacts, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or other unrelated Google data. When you choose email sign-in, we use your address to deliver a short-lived, one-time code through Resend. We also store whether you selected Free or Pro during onboarding; that choice is an account preference and does not create a purchase. During our introductory offer, completed accounts receive temporary Pro preview access at no charge. This does not start a paid subscription or enroll you in marketing emails.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure your account, keep you signed in, connect future purchases or saved work to the correct account, provide support, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information or use account data for third-party advertising.
Support reports
When you contact support through the site, we store the category, tool or site area, title, description, and any problem details you choose to provide. A reply email and a barelyharris.com example or share link are optional. If you explicitly choose to include the diagnostic summary shown in the form, it contains only an app version when available, the route path without its query or hash, and broad browser and device information. We do not silently attach browser storage, console logs, MIDI data, account tokens, or the full URL query or hash.
A signed-in report may be associated with the submitting account on the server. Reports, internal triage notes, and status history are private and are used to respond to support requests, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the workshop. The initial form accepts text and links, not file uploads. Support reports are not sent in full through the daily owner summary.
Storage and service providers
Account and session records are stored in a database controlled by Bebop Workshop on Cloudflare. Google supplies the Google identity sign-in service, and Resend delivers application email such as sign-in codes. Cloudflare also delivers the site and may process technical request information needed for security and reliable operation.
Cookies
Signing in creates a secure, HTTP-only session cookie. It is used to recognize your signed-in browser and is not available to the site's JavaScript. Most public music tools remain usable without signing in; account-required and private tools keep their separate access rules.
Retention and your choices
We keep account data while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. You can sign out at any time. Resolved and duplicate support reports are deleted after 12 months without further activity; spam reports are deleted after 30 days. Open reports remain available while we work on them. Reports needed by another report or an unresolved email-delivery record are retained until that dependency is resolved. Deletion also removes the report's internal notes and stored digest copies. Use the support form or email support@barelyharris.com to request access to or deletion of your account or support information.
Changes
We may update this notice as account, payment, or email features are added. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
